Different Types of Fast and How They are Done

Fasting is a Biblical spiritual discipline that humbles the flesh, sharpens spiritual sensitivity, positions believers to hear God clearly, and experience breakthrough. This fast is not about punishment or performance—it is about intimacy, alignment, and power through surrender.

Before you begin, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in choosing the fast that is right for your health, spiritual maturity, and current season. Just know, fasting without prayer is nothing but starvation. Therefore ensure that you couple your fast with prayer.
